Your Jerusalem wants to help you spark a sustained movement of evangelism in your church.

We combine live, in-person workshops over the course of a Momentum Weekend with ongoing video-coaching sessions for your church’s key leaders and staff as part of the Mission Forward package.

Mission Forward is more than a training—it’s a movement. It’s about equipping the saints, not just informing them. It’s about walking with churches, not just teaching. And it’s about building momentum that lasts long after the weekend ends.

What’s included in the Your Jerusalem
Mission Forward Evangelism Training

Momentum Weekend:  A high-impact, in-person training to launch your church’s evangelism journey. Coaches are prepared in advance and receive intensive training over the weekend.

Leadership Multiplication: A framework to help churches not only train but also multiply leaders who can carry the mission forward through missional groups. Coaches help participants develop Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound next steps for evangelism.

Biweekly Coaching: 12 sessions over six months to walk alongside church coaches, offering guidance, encouragement, and accountability in support of missional groups.  Coaches meet every two weeks for six months to reflect, plan, and stay accountable using the ARP model: Accountability, Reflection, and Planning.

On-Demand Consulting:   Ongoing support for pastors and leaders, as they consider how to develop an outward-facing culture. An option for consulting and training regarding workflow management, systems, and other leadership challenges is available.

Momentum Weekend
Evangelism Training

There are 6 Blocks of training over the course of the weekend that cover the following topics in-depth:

  • Who benefits from your evangelism

  • Three reasons that we don’t evangelize our friends.

  • How we can overcome our barriers to evangelism.

  • What the process of evangelism looks like.

  • Toward the end, the training leads into helping the attendees move forward in evangelizing their friends in an overtly practical manner.

This training is seven hours long and involves several workshops and discussion times.

The minimum number of participants is 8 and there is no maximum.

  • Each participant will receive a 69 page Training Notebook which includes many of the visuals that will be on the powerpoint plus four appendices that are designed to help participants move forward evangelistically beyond the training weekend. Two of these appendices are User’s Guides to some of our other resources: The Journey Books & The One Study.

Following the Training Weekend, Your Jerusalem will lead live, web-based training for the church’s leaders every two weeks. These meetings will last for the six months that follow the Training Weekend. Each of the leaders that are involved in this follow-up component will receive eight installments of training content that we will discuss together during the sessions for each two-week interval. Throughout the six month period, Your Jerusalem will be “on call” as a consultant for the staff of that church in order to help them give effective leadership to their church as they seek to reach their community with the gospel.

Mission Forward
Missional Coaching

When a church invites Your Jerusalem to help them successfully evangelize their communities, one vital piece of this is the training of “missional coaches” within the congregation. These coaches, in-turn, help others in their congregation effectively move forward in evangelizing their friends.

  • There are some people who would like this type of help from a “missional” coach, but for various reasons don’t have access to it. For these people, Your Jerusalem provides one-on-one, web-based coaching. This coaching takes place in hour-long sessions every two weeks and is designed to help the coachee evangelize others by:

    • Helping them think through possible action steps.

    • Holding them accountable to the actions they have come up with.

    • Fostering their spiritual maturity through the process of evangelizing their friends.

Preaching another sermon on the Great Commission is unlikely to change the culture of your church.

Your Jerusalem can equip you to spark a sustained movement of evangelism in your church.
